Treating compulsive gambling addiction is our sole focus.  If you have a secondary diagnosis involving another addiction or a mental health diagnosis such as depression or anxiety, you may still be eligible for admission to our program.  You will receive support and education regarding your co-addiction and its impact on your recovery from compulsive gambling.  You will be able to self-administer medication as prescribed by your private physician.

We believe that our unique holistic approach to treatment will provide you with the tools you need to be free from your gambling addiction and to have a positive approach to life. The treatment program includes individual and group therapy, family therapy, lectures, physical therapy and other holistic modalities, such as art therapy and acupuncture.

We also believe that the setting is part of the healing environment.  The plantation house, built over 200 years ago, has been restored with all the comforts of modern day living. With walking trails, a caboose and trolley car as therapy rooms, the serenity is unmatched.

We want to make your stay as pleasant and rewarding as possible.

Accommodations

Our sleeping quarters are warm, secure and home-like. More than half of the bedrooms have bathrooms en suite. Because Williamsville Wellness is a coed facility, we try to ensure that female residents have bedrooms with private baths.  It is imperative that all residents feel safe and secure and are safe and secure. The comfort and positive interactions of our residents is of paramount importance to us.

Williamsville Wellness is an open facility and all residents are admitted on a voluntary basis. A resident manager lives onsite to assist residents after hours and to ensure that house rules are followed. Residents are not permitted to retain money, cell phones, laptops, credit cards, or any other items that the staff considers possible gambling paraphernalia.
